E.Ray Construction is a family-owned and operated company. We have been serving the Tri-City area for the past 35 years. Vern Ray started the company in 1990 after moving here from the San Francisco area. He built up the business throughout the years in this area and became known as a quality contractor in Geneva and the surrounding areas.
In 2010, Vern’s son Eddie started to run the day-to-day operations. He expanded the business and started to specialize in the deck-building aspect of the business. Over the past 8 years, Eddie has made a name for himself and the business as a quality, custom deck builder.
Over the past 8 years, Eddie and his team have completed many projects in the area including several historic projects bringing new cutting-edge materials into the historic aspect of preservation.
Edward Ray
Eddie Ray, owner of E. Ray Construction has been building custom decks for the past 12 years. He has also been in the trades since he was a little kid, working with his father, Vern Ray.
Edgar Ray
Edgar Ray, Eddie's son, has been with the family company full-time since 2016. His duties and strengths include all day-to-day operations, rough framing, and custom stair finishing.
Patrick Flores
Patricio Flores, nephew of Eddie, has been with the company since 2020. His duties and strengths include site prep, rough framing, and custom finish skirting.
Edward Ray
Eddie Ray, owner of E. Ray Construction has been building custom decks for the past 12 years. He has also been in the trades since he was a little kid, working with his father, Vern Ray.

We had the best experience getting our massive second story deck rebuilt by Eddie. Eddie and his guys were great to work with, the quality of their work is amazing and they were very competitive with their pricing. We would 100% recommend them!
Eddie and the crew did an amazing job on building our dream deck! Eddie has been very communicative throughout the entire process. Even with some supply delays, they still finished the deck in 2.5 weeks. Thanks guys!
Eddie and team did an amazing job on our new front porch stairs. They removed the old concrete staircase and built a new front entry which extended out to the side using Azec boards. Eddie was great to work with and you can tell he takes pride in the quality of work he does. If you are looking for a new deck, stairs or porch, I would highly recommend Eddie and his team!!!
